Grants Management Seminar (GMS): REQUIRED by The Rotary Foundation to qualify for Global Grants and District Grants
In order to qualify for grants funds in Rotary year 2017-18, two club members must have attended GMS between Feb. 1 and May 1 of 2017.
Who should attend: It is recommended that both the President of 2017-18 and the club’s The Rotary Foundation Chair attend. Please note: A Club can send as many participants as desired!
What will be learned: The President of 2017-18 will learn about his/her responsibilities for grant stewardship, the applications he/she will sign, and the reporting requirements. The club’s Foundation chair will learn how to assist the President in grant activity.
This seminar will help a club start planning early for a District Grant! A District Grant provides additional funds for a club’s local/community project in 2017-18. A club must apply for a 2017-18 District Grant between April 1 and June 30, 2017.
When/Where: pre-PETS from 4 PM to 5:30 PM, Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017 at Hilton Phoenix/Mesa.
